Founding Member 2026

We first opened our flower field for our private U-Cut Flower Experience in 2025 for $35 a cutting.  We felt right for where the farm was, where we were as flower growers, and the community to whom we wanted to serve.

Notwithstanding the rising costs of everything – compost, fertilizer, seeds, water, utilities, taxes & more – we’ve decided to do something special for the people who shared our vision for a private urban flower farm from our inaugural  season.

We will offer for all those who cut flowers, bought honey, took home some eggs and otherwise enjoyed our little farm, the opportunity to become a Founding Member of Dynomite Farm.

As a Founding Member, you lock in our original $35-per-visit pricing for one more season.

Your Founding Membership includes:

• One private U-Cut Flower Experience visit in the spring of 2026 for ranunculus
  Book a private U-Cut Flower Experience in March & April to cut a field container of ranunculus.
• One private U-Cut Flower visit in the summer of 2026 for dahlias
  During dahlia season, come back for another private U-Cut Flower Experience visit and cut a field container of our award winning dahlias.
• As always, Dynomite Farm is private and visits are by-appointment only
  Enjoy a peaceful time in the flowers at our small urban organic flower farm in Santa Cruz – zero crowds.  Just you and the people you choose to share the experience with and the blooms.

Membership is $70 and you receive one private U-Cut visit for ranunculus in the spring and another visit for Dahlias in the summer, each equivalent to our inaugural $35 U-Cut Flower Experience pricing.

How it works

• 1. Purchase your Founding Membership.
  After checkout, you’ll receive a confirmation by email and you’ll be tagged in our system as a Founding Member.
• 2. We’ll email you when booking opens in the spring for ranunculus and the fall for dahlias.
  Founding Members will receive an email with key dates and a link to book their spring and summer visits.
• 3. Choose your spring and summer dates.
  You’ll select one ranunculus date and one dahlia date that work with your schedule.

Who this is for

This invitation is reserved for our email community and past customers – the people who believed in Dynomite Farm when our U-Cut Flower Experience visits were still $35 and the farm was just beginning to grow.

If you’ve wandered amongst the raised beds, taken home a vase of color, or simply cheered us on from your inbox, this is our way of saying thank you and giving you a good reason to come visit us again in 2026.

Important details

• Founding Memberships are valid for the 2026 flower season only.
• Your two visits must be used in 2026 (one spring ranunculus visit and one summer dahlia visit); unused visits do not roll over to future seasons or years.
• All visits are private and by appointment only and booked on our website.
• This membership is non-refundable.
• Public (non-member) U-Cut pricing will be higher in 2026; Founding Members keep the original $35-per-visit rate for these two visits.

Founding Member pricing is by invitation only and may close early if we reach our 2026 capacity for U-Cut Flower Experience visits.

Membership Notes

Dynomite Farm is a working flower farm and, like all farms, we’re subject to the whims of Mother Nature. While we do our very best to grow an abundant garden of gorgeous blooms, there are no guarantees. Your membership helps fund the planting of our winter ranunculus corms and our spring dahlia tubers, the compost and amendments we add to the beds, and the countless quiet and essential tasks that happen long before the first flower opens.

Almost without exception, seasons are generous and everything just works.

However; weather, gophers, pests, and disease can all team up and sweep through our raised flower beds in ways we can’t always predict. As a member, you’re not just buying flowers; you’re joining us for the whole arc of the season, from first planting to final cutting. We promise to care for the garden with everything we have, to keep you in the loop as the season unfolds, and we’ll be sure to share both the successes and the challenges of the season.
