Baron Katie has 4 to 6-inch informal decorative blooms in a warm flame blend of orange, peach and bronze. The slightly fluted, twisted petals give each flower a soft, feathery texture.
It is one of the earliest dahlias to bloom and one of the most productive: in a national cut flower trial it averaged nearly 10 stems per plant with long, strong stems. It also keeps showing up in the American Dahlia Society’s Cream of the Crop. Plants reach 3.5 to 4 feet. Every Baron Katie tuber we ship is grown, hand-divided and inspected at division here at Dynomite Farm in Santa Cruz.
