Apple Blossom is a 4-inch collarette with creamy yellow petals that take on a soft rose blush as they age, set around a delicate pink collar. The open center gives it a light, airy look that feels like spring blossom in late summer.
It reblooms reliably and stays strong right to the end of the season on plants about 4.5 feet tall. The open centers are a favorite with bumblebees, and the flowers are much admired in arrangements. First introduced in 1986, it remains one of the most popular collarettes. Every Apple Blossom tuber we ship is grown, hand-divided and inspected at division here at Dynomite Farm in Santa Cruz.
