KA’s® Cinder Rose is a 3.5-inch miniature formal decorative in a soft blend of blush pink and mauve, with the faintest gold at the petal tips. It holds its formal shape all season and rarely opens with a visible center, which is why it does so well on the show table.
Cinder Rose earned 50 blue ribbons or better at American Dahlia Society shows in 2025 and made the ADS Fabulous Fifty list. In the garden it reaches 3 to 3.5 feet, handles heat well, and sends up the long stems KA’s® varieties are known for. Color can vary a little with weather and soil. We grow KA’s® Cinder Rose in Santa Cruz as a licensed KA’s® grower, about half a mile from where Kristine Albrecht bred it.
