Maarn is a 4-inch formal decorative in a clear, juicy tangerine orange. The rounded, tightly layered blooms look almost ball-like, and in Europe the same flower is sold as Sylvia.
Swan Island Dahlias introduced it in the US in 2000. It is extremely productive, rarely without a bloom once it starts, and produces great stems for cutting on plants 3.5 to 4 feet tall. It placed in the ADS Cream of the Crop in 2024. Every Maarn tuber we ship is grown, hand-divided and inspected at division here at Dynomite Farm in Santa Cruz.
