River’s Splash is a 4.5-inch variegated semi-cactus, each bloom splashed and streaked so that no two flowers look alike. The pointed, partly rolled petals give it a lively, starry shape.
It comes from River’s Dahlias in Veneta, Oregon, whose River’s line is bred for the show table. Plants reach about 5 feet and are loaded with blooms that work equally well for exhibition and for cutting. Every River’s Splash tuber we ship is grown, hand-divided and inspected at division here at Dynomite Farm in Santa Cruz.
