KA’s® Coral Sea has 4-inch informal decorative blooms in a smoky peach-coral, with a delicate golden tip on each wavy petal. The loose petal shape gives the flower a sense of movement, and the color shifts with the season and even the time of day.
Plants are tall at about 5 feet and produce armloads of blooms all season, which makes Coral Sea a true cut flower workhorse. In hot weather the centers open quickly, so cut in the early morning. It has also placed well at American Dahlia Society shows. We grow KA’s® Coral Sea in Santa Cruz as a licensed KA’s® grower, about half a mile from where Kristine Albrecht bred it.
