KA’s® Peppercorn is a laciniated dahlia in brilliant red, with split petal tips that flash white and give each 6 to 8-inch bloom a sparkling, starry edge. The slightly tousled form adds texture to any arrangement.
Plants grow 4 to 5 feet and produce buckets of flowers. Pinch early and cut often for the longest stems. Growers also report a good tuber harvest in a single season. We grow KA’s® Peppercorn in Santa Cruz as a licensed KA’s® grower, about half a mile from where Kristine Albrecht bred it.
