CG Coral is a cactus dahlia in bright coral pink, with fine, rolled petals and a faint wash of purple at the tips. The spiky blooms have a light, fairy-like look on a taller plant.
It was bred right here in Santa Cruz County by Kevin Larkin and Karen Zydner of Corralitos Gardens; the CG in its name stands for Corralitos Gardens. It flowers from midseason on and placed in the American Dahlia Society’s Cream of the Crop in 2016 and 2018. Every CG Coral tuber we ship is grown, hand-divided and inspected at division here at Dynomite Farm in Santa Cruz.
