Cornel Bronze is a ball dahlia in coppery bronze that florists often call burnt orange. As the season moves into fall the color deepens and takes on a soft silvery cast, so late blooms look richer than the first ones.
It is a bronze sport of the classic red Cornel and one of the best orange dahlias for cutting, with long, strong stems and weather-resistant blooms. Plants stay sturdy at 3.5 to 4 feet, rebloom all season and make plenty of easy-to-divide tubers. In 2025 it earned 84 blue ribbons or better at American Dahlia Society shows. Every Cornel Bronze tuber we ship is grown, hand-divided and inspected at division here at Dynomite Farm in Santa Cruz.
