KA’s® Khaleesi is a giant white informal decorative with blooms over 10 inches across. It is one of the most decorated dahlias of recent years, winning the American Dahlia Society’s Derrill W. Hart Medal in 2018, the Stanley Johnson Medal in 2023 and the Les Connell Medal in 2024.
In 2025 it collected more than 100 blue ribbons or better at ADS shows. Plants reach 4.5 to 5 feet, hold the huge blooms on strong stems, and keep producing through the season. The flowers also last well in the vase. We grow KA’s® Khaleesi in Santa Cruz as a licensed KA’s® grower, about half a mile from where Kristine Albrecht bred it.
